Call for Speakers now open!

Hannover Fairs USA and GIE Media are pleased to initiate the Call for Speakers for the Integrated Industries Conference (IIC) in Chicago, Illinois, during HANNOVER MESSE USA, taking place September 14-19, 2020.

The objective for the Integrated Industries Conference (IIC) at HANNOVER MESSE USA is continuous improvement focusing on two (2) topic tracks: IIoT/Industry 4.0 and Automation, with six (6) sessions per track.

  • Pumps, motors, drives, actuators
  • Hydraulic/Pneumatic cylinders, valves

Sessions are 55 minutes long and should include 5 to 10 minutes for Q&A.

Date and Location
Tuesday, September 15, 2020. All conference sessions will be held in the West Building - Level 1 of McCormick Place.

Speaker Proposal Submission Procedure
Speakers wishing to participate in the Integrated Industries Conference (IIC) should e-mail an abstract with sufficient detail for fair evaluation and indicated which topic it pertains to

Information to gather for your abstract submission:

  • Person submitting information: Name, Company, Address, Phone Number, E-mail
  • List of presenter(s): Company, Speaker Name, Title, Address, E-mail
  • Abstract title
  • Abstract
  • Presenter biography
  • Hi-res headshot photo - 300 dpi jpeg

The educational value of the presentation is critical in the selection process and thinly disguised sales pitches will not be selected. Conference attendees should leave the session equipped with "lessons learned," especially as they relate to new technology development.

Selected speakers will be notified via e-mail in mid-March 2020. They will receive a letter of acceptance, which will review the onsite logistics (time, room number, etc.) for their session. Speakers are encouraged to promote the conference, and in appreciation of their participation, each will receive 10 complimentary registration passes for their specific session. The use of social media vehicles such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, etc. is also encouraged.

The conference will be promoted on the GIE Media Manufacturing Group publications, websites, e-newsletters, via social media and the Conference Guide.
