Cancellation Update
To Our Valued Exhibitors:
We continue to hope each of you and your families remain safe and healthy during these difficult and challenging times.
As we announced last week, HANNOVER MESSE USA and IMTS 2020 unfortunately had to be canceled, and we continue to consider the impact this has on our business, and, more importantly, our exhibitors, attendees, and the manufacturing technology community. Of course, we are disappointed that the 2020 show had to be cancelled, and we truly wish that we could have brought the shows back to Chicago this year. On behalf of our staff, Board of Directors, and partners at AMT and IMTS, we thank you for your understanding.
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank all those who have invested so much time, effort and commitment into organizing HANNOVER MESSE USA 2020. We would also like to acknowledge the support and encouragement we have received from our sponsors and exhibitors, without whom this show would not be possible.
We understand that many of you have questions about how we will be handling registration, exhibitor and sponsor fees. Rest assured, we are working hard, together with all of our business partners, to assess next steps, and we recognize and appreciate the desire for answers to these very important questions. Our goal is to have more defined information in the next couple of weeks, and we expect to be able to announce a plan with respect to refunds, credits and/or discounts at that time.
DIGITAL PLATFORMS
As a reminder, HANNOVER MESSE USA will be a part of the two virtual programs created to provide our audience with a reimagined digital manufacturing technology platform – IMTS Network and IMTS Spark – both of which will offer valuable educational and networking opportunities, and highlight exciting new features and stories from the manufacturing technology sector. The team at IMTS will be providing more information on these programs in the near future, and we will share that information with our HANNOVER MESSE USA community as soon as we know more.
